on the first floor of the apartment

is a good lookin’ man who did the best you can

with some one he loved but was a manic maniac

she was a beauty in her environment

except she always looked away. he was lucky he was so good lookin

he told her other women stood in line

and he could choose either one any time

it had been her dream to marry

prince charming

then the smile wore off as he

was cold as stone, dark quartz forbidden her

to what she was seeing at home,

a  department of madness, pain was bartered,

but a good lookin’ man who promised true love to her

wanted her

she doesn’t even know what love is.

she doesn’t even know was this

love she was feeling at the same time it hurt?
